Wed. July 22 is the first day of school for students. That morning, all students must report to the gym no later than 7:30 in the morning. Please keep in mind that with enrollment at 2,500 students, traffic will be extremely crowded. We will be closing the drop off area in front of the main office at 7am, however, there will be 3 different drop off locations. One will be in front of the school on Magdalena Ave., the other will be on Peabody Road by the back gate and the third location will be on Rock Mountain Road in the back parking lot where East Hills Academy is located. Please follow the signs that will be posted in the morning.
After students are released from the gym at 8am they will report to their 1st period class (SEE FULL LIST HERE). There will also be 7 signs posted around campus where students can find there 1st period room # by alphabetical order.
We look forward to another amazing year full of growth and academic success!
Dear Olympian High School 9th graders,
This is a reminder that we have a very exciting Link Crew Freshmen orientation for all incoming 9th grade students. The freshmen orientation is on Wednesday July 15th from 8am – 12 noon in the school gymnasium. Students will meet with their senior link leader and get to know other incoming 9th grade students, plus get a tour of the school.
At the same time we will have a 9th grade parent orientation in the MPR (Multi-Purpose room) from 8am – 9am to give more information to parents about what to expect for the 9th grade year.
We will also distribute student course selections and we will be selling PE uniforms and Eagle Gear – cash only. Please call the school if you have any questions at 619-656-2400.

The band would like to invite the community to our annual end of the year “Pops Concert” this Saturday, May 30th. It will be held in the grass area outside the cafeteria with the concert beginning at 5:00pm.
The music to be performed will be …
· Music Selections from the Marching Season
· Jazz Band performance of Mission Impossible, The Pink Panther, Walk the Dinosaur, Birdland, and Beyond the Sea (featuring vocals by Chloe Munguia-Flores)
· Concert Band performance of music from Nightmare Before Christmas, Aladdin, Star Trek Into Darkness, a medley called Who’s That Masked Man (Lone Ranger, Spiderman, Phantom of the Opera, Incredibles, Mask of Zorro), and a special performance with alumni joining us playing music from Pirates of the Caribbean.
If you’re available, please come by. The students would love to have the support of their community, teachers and administration for their end of the year event. It is also our final event for our great senior class. We have about 1/3 of our band as seniors, so it’s a very large class that would love to see you all one more time.
